HIV AIDS is a dangerous disease which can take your life,so it is better to take precautions so that you don’t have to face this chronically dangerous disease that causes thousands of other problems in the human body. So, if you are living with the HIV in your body than you don’t have to worry about it. It is just a disease so don’t feel shy about having it. If you have it, don’t hide it and take appropriate precautions to prevent.

Here is a list which helps you to prevent HIV AIDS.

How to avoid and secure yourself from HIV or AIDS:
Have information about this Virus:Usually, people don’t talk about this disease, and they feel ashamed in talking about the condition. Please don’t feel ashamed of it, it is just a disease and you should have appropriate knowledge about the disease like you should know “what are the reasons which cause this disease” so that you can avoid the same and you can live a better and healthy life. So, having information is suitable for healthy living.

Know about the transmission of this disease: People don’t have proper knowledge regarding this disease,so there are lots of misconceptions among people related to this disease. So having adequate information is excellent rather than creating a lot of misunderstanding in your brain. Please don’t plot any misconception and have appropriate knowledge of this disease.

Note:
HIV is not found in vomit, saliva, phlegm, nasal secretions, tears and urine unless these fluids don’t contain blood. So having social contact with the person who is a carrier of HIV will not affect your health, you can have social bonding with the person, you can eat, you can play, you can have social contact or even you can share your room or toilet with the person who is a carrier of the HIV. Don’t forget it is just a disease.

So, How this disease spreads?
This disease can be transmitted via fluids like via blood, vaginal secretions when comes in contact with the open skin or broken skin or mouth, nose. That means “you should avoid direct contact with the vaginal secretions or with the wounds of an infected person.” This can be transmitted by blood from one body to another body or via semen, breast milk and via vaginal fluid as discussed above.
You should know that the phlegm or the saliva did not have HIV so you can eat with the person who is having HIV AIDS. It does not transmit through saliva or mucus. So you should not be afraid of a cough, sneeze of the person who is having this virus. You can come contact with the person having an HIV AIDS. But remember that it is only in the case if the person is not secreting the blood with the sneezing or a cough.

Via organ transfer: You can also have HIV AIDS if your donor is HIV positive. So before taking an organ, you should know the details of the donor. While the donor is like a god to you but having precaution will save you from the further suffering.

Protection while having Sex: Use protection while having sex. It is easy to say “this time we will do sex without any protection” because nothing can happen as we both are HIV free. But, this is not done because all it takes is just a single time. Thus to save you and your partner from such viruses, both of you should use protection while having sex. Don’t go with these lines as the life of you and your partner is the most precious thing for you.

Don’t reuse needles: while it is banned to reuse the needles, but still some cases are suffering from the HIV AIDS due to needles. The needles which are used to enter the drug in the person’s body can cause enter of the HIV in one’s body. So while having a tattoo on your body or while having an injection, please check whether the person is not applying the same syringe on your body which he had used before.

People who have HIV AIDS:
There are around thirty-four millions of people who are having HIV. So you are not only the one who is having the HIV. Don’t be ashamed of the same if you have HIV AIDS. It is just a disease. There are a lot of reasons which can cause HIV AIDS.

Don’t hide from your partner or from others: If you hide that you are a carrier of the HIV and you feel ashamed telling about it,and you are having unprotected sex, then you are playing with the life of you and your partner. While you are a carrier of HIV, still you can have sex,but it should be protected.
Pregnancy: If you are a carrier of the HIV and you want to become a mother then before pregnancy, you should consult with the doctor and then you can plan to have a child because HIV can be transmitted from a mother to her infant via breastfeeding or even at the time of pregnancy. So it is imperative to consult the doctor before planning to have a child.

Don’t donate blood or organ: If you are a carrier of HIV, then you should not give blood or organs to others because blood is a carrier of the HIV and if you donate your blood then the person who will have the blood will become a carrier of HIV. So strictly follow it, don’t give blood or any organ because you are doing well on your own,but it can create a further more significant problem for the recipient.

Have careful sex: While having sex with your partner you should be cautious so that the vaginal secretions should not come with direct contact to your partner’s like in nose, mouth or any broken skin or open penis. Because due to this, your partner may have HIV AIDS as well which you don’t want to be. It is good to have one sex partner.
